With the daily treat of an avian flu pandemic as suggested by the world’s health experts, the unique GelVac® system, developed by DelSite Biotechnologies (a subsidiary of Carrington Laboratories) could be the solution to deliver more vaccines to more people, faster and more efficiently compared to other existing or imagined vaccine delivery system. In lieu of this development, shares of the pharmaceutical company Carrington Laboratories, Inc. traded at a 52-week high of $7.45 on Wednesday, a week before presenting details of its ground-breaking avian flu vaccine (the GelVac® system) at the World Vaccine Conference in Washington, Dc on March 21.
