The collaboration between Helix BioMedix, Inc. (developer of bioactive peptides) and Grant Industries (private developer,manufacturer and marketer of cosmetic, textile, and performance specialty chemicals resulted to an acne blend for use in over-the-counter acne products: acne solution Granactive™, a combination of Helix BioMedix’s proprietary Oligopeptide-10 with salicylic acid and Grant’s Invisiskin™ (an ingredient for enhanced delivery of bioactive compounds).
On March 20, the collaborating companies announced the successful results of a human panel test for Granactive™.
