Claris LifeSciences to Expand in Europe, Ties up with STADA Arzneimittel Subsidiaries

Ahmedabad-based Claris Lifesciences, a producer of large and small volume Injectables, has tied up with the subsidiary companies of Germany's third largest generic drug manufacturer, STADA Arzneimittel AG (SAZ). Under the agreement, Claris will supply four products each to STADA's subsidiaries:

"We are hoping to clock first year's sales of about Rs 75 crore or 10% of the Rs 750 crore market for our products in these three countries", Sushil Handa, founder CEO said. Making a projection for the future.

Handa said that they are looking at capturing 28-30% of the total market share of these products, which includes Propofol and Anti-infectives.
