KV Pharmaceutical Company (NYSE: KV.A/KV.B) has recently received USFDA approval to market six strengths of Diltiazem HCl ER Capsules through its wholly-owned generic/non-branded subsidiary, ETHEX Corporation.
Diltiazem HCl ER Capsules is the AB rated generic version of Forest Pharmaceuticals, Inc.’s Tiazac®, indicated for the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure) and angina (chest pain) and belonging to a class of drugs known as calcium channel blockers (CCBs) that lower blood pressure by blocking calcium influx into the smooth muscle cells of the blood vessels.
