D-Pharm Ltd. Granted DP-b99 Exclusive License to Yungjin Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. For Korean Acute Stroke Market
D-Pharm Ltd. (691243) has granted Yungjin Pharmaceutical Company Ltd. (SEO: 003520) an exclusive license to develop, register and market DP-b99 in South Korea for the treatment of acute stroke patients.
The terms of agreement includes the following:
Yungjin is a South Korean company that specializes in the manufacture, distribution, import and export of pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals while D-Pharm is a biopharmaceutical company pioneering the development of lipid-like therapeutics.
DP-b99 is D-Pharm’s unique neuroprotective drug under Phase IIb clinical trial in stroke patients. Previous clinical trials demonstrated that DP-b99 is safe both in healthy young and elderly volunteers and in stroke patients.
