The Cologne-based Artemis Pharmaceuticals GmbH entered into a research agreement with Merck & Co., Inc. (NYSE: MRK) for the construction of a large number of shRNA interference ("shRNAi ") - genetically engineered mouse models for the in vivo functional analysis of selected disease related genes.
