Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Agreed with SCP (Saudi Arabia) for the Distribution of Erectile Dysfunction Drug Zydena in (Gulf Cooperation Council) Countries
A new oral tablet for erectile dysfunction (ED) by Dong-A Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (SEO: 000640) -Zydena- was launched in Korea in December 2005 and since then has already exceeded more than 20% (by volume) of the Korean market because of its excellent efficacy and safety profile.
Now, under a supply and distribution agreement with SCP (Saudi Arabia), Zydena will be distributed in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, UAE and Qatar, placing the product to effectively compete in this region with Viagra® (Pfizer, NYSE: PFE), Cialis® (Eli Lilly & Co., NYSE: LLY) and Levitra® (Bayer, NYSE: BAY).
In the United States, Dong-A PharmTech Co. Ltd, is continuously developing Zydena for the ED market.
