Cytokinetics, Incorporated (Nasdaq: CYTK) will present data from a Phase Ib combination clinical trial of ispinesib and a non-clinical study of SB-743921 (both novel inhibitors of kinesin spindle protein (KSP)) at the 18th Annual EORTC-NCI-AACR Symposium on Molecular Targets and Cancer Therapeutics to be held 7-10 November, 2006 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The clinical data will be presented via a poster presentation that will highlight data from a Phase Ib combination clinical trial that evaluated ispinesib in combination with capecitabine (Xeloda® by Roche; OTC: RHHBY)

The Phase Ib combination clinical trial was designed to assess the safety, tolerability and pharmacokinetics of ispinesib in combination with capecitabine, and to determine the optimally tolerated regimen of the combination therapy.
In addition, a non-clinical poster characterizing anti-tumor activities of SB-743921 in a solid tumor xenograft model and its potential in combination with bortezomib.
