The Christmas season was a good time to get away from the blogosphere and do something else like (most especially) spending time with one's family. That's exactly what i did and I truly thank the big wigs of Know More Media for allowing us authors to be a little lax blogging-wise.
My time away from here was truly special, not because it was Christmas and New New Year, but somewhere in between those two (the 29th and my son just turned 4) is my son's birthday.
So you see, I have more important reasons to be away from the blogosphere.

Anyway, I couldn't not mention my son as he is the main reason I am blogging fulltime today. Long story but let's just put it this way: I seized the moment when blogging opportunities came my way so I jumped and here I am. And I like and love that fact, not even a tiny bit of regret.
And so without further ado, let's take a quick peek at what happened to the pharma world while I hybernated:

Eli Lilly makes billions on diabetes treatment and also gets $4.2 billion a year in sales of their biggest cash cow Zyprexa which has been scandalized as *causing* diabetes as a major side effect.
