CSL Behring and Bayer Healthcare Agreed to Extend Agreement for Supply of Helixate® Recombinant Coagulation Factor
CSL Behring (5950871) has agreed with Bayer Healthcare (16159456) for the continuation of supply and distribution of Helixate® recombinant coagulation Factor VIII- an important therapy for hemophilia A treatment.
Under the extended contract:
- Bayer will continue to supply Helixate® recombinant coagulation Factor VIII to CSL Behring through 2017.
- Bayer was granted a license to intellectual property related to recombinant FVIII.
- The two companies settled outstanding litigation relating to the supply of recombinant Factor VIII.
Other terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
