Laureate Pharma, Inc. (11061029) has entered into an agreement for the manufacture of Trubion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: TRBN)'s TRU-016.
TRU-016, a novel protein for the treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphoma (NHL) and chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), is designed to target CD37, an antigen present on B cells.
Once preclinical testing has been satisfactorily completed for TRU-016, an IND (Investigational New Drug) application will be filed in the second half of 2007.
Terms of the said manufacturing agreement were not disclosed.
