A wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo-based Eisai Co., Ltd. (TYO: 4523) - Eisai Corporation of North America – has recently announced the completion of its acquisition of Morphotek®, Inc. (1293437).

Morphotek joins Eisai's growing global discovery and development research network, which is comprised of research laboratories in Japan, Europe and the U.S.

Based in Exton, Pennsylvania, Morphotek will continue to be led by its existing management headed by Dr. Nicholas Nicolaides, President.
