TWC Global LLC Inc. has issued an nationwide recall of its products Axcil and Desirin, which are marketed as dietary supplements, as they contain potentially harmful ingredients.
The FDA found that the products contained sildenafil, the active ingredient of an FDA approved drug used for erectile dysfunction as well as sulfosidenafil and sulfohomosildenafil. The undeclared chemicals can be harmful to consumers because they may interact with nitrates found in some prescriptions drugs and may lower blood pressure to dangerous levels.
