I was buzzing through one of our sister blogs, BizToolBelt, and came across and article Alex wrote about Nanotechnology. Seems researchers at the University of Missouri-Columbia have developed nanotechnology. A nanodevice that researchers claim will act as a drug delivery device to fight HIV and cancer.
The device is just one cubic inch big and will send supersonic shockwaves to affected cells making them more penetrable to drugs. While the device still needs three more years of testing, researchers are reassuring that the nanoparticles contain nothing harmful or hazardous to the human body.
Today nanotechnology, tomorrow nanobots? Like the Borg, Resistance is Futile when it comes to advances in technology.
