Medgadget is one of my favorite blogs and with good reason. Their commitment to bringing medical technology news to the blogosphere is unparalleled. Their articles are concise and informative and always provide stunning pictures and illustrations to enhance the reading experience.
Yesterday, MedGadget announced the winners of the 2007 Medical Weblog Awards. This is the fourth year they have run the competition and its purpose is "to recognize the very best from the medical blogosphere, and to highlight the diversity and excitement of the world of medical blogs."
All of the nominees have excellent blogs and I don't envy those that had to chose the best out such an impressive collection of "must read" "blogs.
Here are the winners:
Best Medical Blog: Running a Hospital by Paul Levy
Best New Medical Blog: Dr Val and the Voice of Reason by Dr Val
Best Literary Medical Blog: Random Acts of Reality by Tom Reynolds
Best Health Policies/Ethics Blog: Running a Hospital by Paul Levy
Best Clinical Sciences Weblog: New York Emergency Medicine
Best Patient Blog: Chronic Babe
Congrats to the winners, each of whom have made a spectacular contribution to the online medical community.
The other nominees are not to be dismissed as each has a blog worthy of your attention and time. Check them out at your leisure, you won't be disappointed!
